I currently contract with Parking Today Media (Austin, TX) to design their monthly print magazine, Parking Today. I am responsible for managing the magazine as it goes from first proof to final files to the printer and then to a digital book for the website. I check ads from outside clients for accuracy and quality before publication, I create the final files and upload and approve them for the printer, and I update the Wordpress website with the new month's content.

I also maintain branding consistency throughout all materials. I design logos, marketing materials, digital ads, social media posts, and more. See below for some of my digital work for them.

I also do a lot of digital design projects for Parking Today Media. 

I create enewsletters, banner ads, and social media promotions, and sometimes use motion or animation in the graphics.

I have also created a promotional video for them, piecing together some footage I used AI to generate and editing it together with text, audio, and logos. The video was played at an international parking conference in Amsterdam. View the video.

I create all promotional materials for the annual Parking Industry Expo (PIE) event in Dallas, TX, including print and digital ads, event signage, lanyards, swag bags, and anything and everything else, down to the reception napkins. This year was the event's first year in Dallas, so it was important to promote the desirability and the excitement of the new location.

I create print and digital ads for SocialSales.io, a sales enablement technology company (Plano, TX) that most recently desired to advertise a newly created app "assistant" for sales executives. These advertisements were featured in Direct Selling News, among other places.

I have provided design work for clients in mutiple industries across the country, including technology, realtors, direct sales, medical and nursing home facilities, plastic surgeons, financial institutions, clothing stores, and more.

I designed this monthly publication (Austin, TX) on a remote basis. I layed out the pages, flowed the copy, and made the edits throughout the proofing process working alongside the editor, copyeditor, and publisher. I also had to create an illustration for the cover each month. I uploaded the digital book to the web and prepped the issue content for Wordpress.

I designed the cover and inside pages of the various magazines owned by Today's Media (Louisville, KY), which included Today's Woman, Today's Transitions, and Today's Family. We were a small staff putting out a large volume of pages, and I learned how to excel under deadline pressure while maintaining consistent quality and creativity.

Today's Woman was sold to TBain & Co. in March 2021, where I remained until February 2022.

Responsibilities included: Executing editorial and cover layout and design of one monthly and two quarterly magazines; copyediting; responsible for managing story and photo assignments for Today’s Family; digital design and enewsletters; media kit design; checking client ads for accuracy and file integrity; upload of digital magazine to Issuu.com and magazine websites; maintaining Wordpress website; social media design, scheduling, and management.
